Four-star safety Jaylen McCollough is one of the Tennessee Vols’ top 2019 commits.

On Friday night, he showed why he’s so highly rated.

The 6-foot/194 lb safety from Powder Springs, GA helped his team to a regional title with a pick-six that sealed the game.

McCollough is rated in 247Sports’ composite rankings as the No. 15 player in the state of Georgia and the No. 12 safety in the nation. He committed to Tennessee in August.

The Vols love recruiting in Georgia

McCollough wasn’t the only Vol commit/target from Georgia making noise on Friday night.

Four-star quarterback Harrison Bailey, a 6-foot-4 pro-style quarterback who attends Marietta high school, showed off his arm last night against McCollough’s team (and in front of Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh).

Bailey took an unofficial visit to Tennessee in June.
