The Tennessee Volunteers (21-1, 9-0) prevailed in a SEC contest at Thompson-Boling Arena against the Missouri Tigers (11-10, 2-7), 72-60.
It was an ugly start for both the Vols and Tigers. However, it didn’t take the number one team in the nation long to get hot offensively.

Despite the impressive run, the Vols were unable to maintain that momentum and turned the ball over three consecutive times.

The Vols went into halftime leading the Tigers 37-31.
Tennessee continued to be consistent offensively in the second half and steadily widened the gap.
The Volunteers’ offensive production was enough to carry them to another in-conference win, despite their struggle with turnovers in the game.
