Vols streaking

Tennessee Basketball is hot! The Vols are riding a four game winning streak heading into Mississippi State Saturday afternoon.

However, that’s not the most impressive streak Rick Barnes’ squad is on…

Incredible. UT led Kansas State and Auburn wire-to-wire. Tennessee (11-9) has not trailed in a game since the 6:15 mark in the first half against Kentucky at 25-23. Since then, the Vols have outscored opponents 216-190.

The Vols’ travel to Mississippi State in attempt to sweep the seasons series with the Bulldogs. Tennessee’s 91-74 home win began the current four game winning streak. UT hasn’t won back-to-back games on the road since picking up wins at ETSU and Texas A&M in late December.

Senior Robert Hubbs and freshman Grant Williams are leading the Vols with 16 points per game each during the win streak.

Tennessee and Mississippi State tip off Saturday at 2:30pm CT in Starkville, MS on the SEC Network.
