At the end of March, the Tennessee Vols were tied for the third worst odds to win the SEC (with Kentucky, Mississippi State, Missouri, Ole Miss and South Carolina).

A little over a month later and those odds have improved.

Tennessee is now 40/1 to win the SEC, which is the seventh best odds in the conference.

It seems clear that Tennessee’s recruiting momentum is giving Vegas some confidence in the Vols in 2020.

Of course, none of the 2021 players that have committed in the last couple of months will help Tennessee next season, but it just further proves that Jeremy Pruitt knows how to run a program.

The Vols’ odds to win the SEC will likely only go up from here. So if you’re the betting type and you think UT is a real threat to win the conference in 2020, you might want to get those bets in now.
