Todd McShay has released his third NFL Mock Draft for ESPN and it features two former Vols.
Derek Barnett has been considered a first round talent since the beginning of the season. And, running back Alvin Kamara continues his ascend into the first round after dominating the NFL Combine.

Derek Barnett: 11th to the New Orleans Saints
Barnett had been slipping towards the back of the first round over the first several months of the draft process, according to other mock drafts. After the NFL Combine, it’s good to see the Vols career sack leader vaulting back up to the top 15 picks. While he will never flash testing numbers like Myles Garrett or Soloman Thomas, Barnett will be an impact player on day one.
Alvin Kamara – 27th to the Kansas City Chiefs
Kamara fits the current NFL running back prototype. He’s versatile with speed, toughness, quickness, pass catching and pass protecting ability. The fact that he didn’t have many career carries at Tennessee is proving to be a blessing for Kamara’s draft stock. NFL scouts love the youth his body still has.
