Marcus Mariota

By Zach Bingham

Whatever turnover issues Marcus Mariota had last week against the Chargers, that was rectified with his performance on Sunday against the Packers. The Titans franchise quarterback was lights out!

Marcus was 19/26, for 295 yards and 4 touchdowns. Tennessee beat Green Bay 47-25 and the best part, zero turnovers for #8.

This was a very EXOTIC offensive game plan. Head coach Mike Mularkey and offensive coordinator Terry Robiskie threw a lot at the Packers and it worked.

Exotic Smashmouth

Mariota had this beautiful pass to WR Rishard Matthews, who has six touchdowns in the last six games.

And then Tajae Sharpe got into the mix.

Along with the play of Mariota, DeMarco Murray was a key catalyst in the Titans victory. These two plays by Murray, put points on the board.

Who knew DeMarco could sling the rock like this!

The Titans played outstanding and got themselves back to .500 with a massive AFC South showdown against the Colts next Sunday. Tennessee is 0-10 against the Colts in their last ten meetings. If they play like they have against the Packers and Jaguars, that streak will come to an end.
