Welcome to ‘Sode No. 44 of the Titan Up Podcast: Uncle Drew Bennett & The Case for Derrick Henry!

The Tennessee Titans are AFC South Champions for the first time since 2008! It’s been a long time coming, but Mitch Firkins can FINALLY get that tattoo of his changed.

To put into perspective just how long ago 2008 was, Austin Huff and Jack Gentry time travel back to ’08 when Facebook was king, Kerry Collins was QB, and Sam Sloman was just 11 years old.

Derrick Henry concluded his 2,027-yard season with a monsterous 250-yard performance to seal the deal against the Texans in Week 17. What more could you possibly need, MVP voters? Austin and Jack give out ammunition to equip everyone in potential debates as to why Henry deserves the MVP.

Former Titans great Drew Bennett joins the TUP this week. Uncle Drew breaks down what it’s like to be a part of the storied rivalry between the Titans & Ravens. Plus, Drew discusses the importance of the offensive coordinator and how teams struggle to sustain momentum after a change.

Please don’t leave us, Arthur Smith.

Speaking of Titans greats, Sam Sloman has earned his plaque on the wall amongst some of the best players to ever wear a Titans uniform. But seriously, how great was that Bankshot?

It was a fun week so it’s only right that we put a bow on it by laughing at the Texans one last time before closing the ‘Sode with Remember the Titans and What’s Next.
