Tennessee Vols fans know all about the transfer portal, after losing several key players this offseason.

Eric Gray, Wanya Morris, Keyshawn Lawrence, and Jahmir Johnson, among several others, hit the transfer portal after the 2020 season and left Tennessee.

Apparently, players aren’t the only ones considering leaving Rocky Top.

A third-grader named Landon Israel wrote a letter this week to Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin to explain his desire to enter the “fan transfer portal”.

Check out the letter in Kiffin’s tweet below.

It’s hard to blame Landon for looking around. The Vols haven’t given a kid his age much to cheer for over the last 9-10 years.

But if Landon is serious about looking for a new team, I’m not sure Ole Miss is the answer either.

For one, the Rebels haven’t proved much since Hugh Freeze left town.

Speaking of Freeze, it wasn’t that long ago that Ole Miss was facing serious allegations of their own.

And with Kiffin at the helm, it might not be long before the Rebels find themselves in hot water again.

Landon would probably be better off leaving Ole Miss off his list.
