Jeremy Pruitt and the Tennessee Vols are hoping to develop a recruiting pipeline to the state of Alabama.
They’re off to a good start so far — Tennessee recently received a commitment from from 2020 four-star athlete Kristian Story, an Alabama native.
On Saturday, the Vols learned they’re in the top ten for 2019 four-star offensive tackle Amari Kight.

Kight is a mammoth 6-foot-7, 315 pound offensive tackle from Alabaster, AL. He’s rated by 247Sports as the No. 4 player in the state of Alabama and the No. 15 offensive tackle in the nation.
The Vols obviously have some stiff competition for Kight, but Pruitt is starting to show he can beat out programs like Alabama and Georgia for some top recruits.
Offensive line is one of Tennessee’s biggest positions of need. Kight, with his SEC ready size, will have the opportunity for plenty of early playing time if he ends up in Knoxville.
