The Tennessee Vols are squarely in the mix to land one of the nation’s top 2019 recruits.
Five-star wide receiver Jadon Haselwood, 6-foot-2/196 lbs from Ellenwood, GA, released his top five schools on Tuesday evening and the Vols made the cut.

Haselwood is rated in 247Sports’ composite rankings as the No. 1 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 1 player in the state of Georgia. He’s also ranked as the No. 6 overall player in the nation.
The Georgia native reportedly runs a 4.57 in the 40-yard dash, so he’d bring the speed to Knoxville that Vols head coach Jeremy Pruitt desperately craves.
Haselwood took an unofficial visit to Knoxville last weekend.
As of now, it seems unlikely that Tennessee will land the elite playmaker. But recruiting is incredibly fluid and crazier things have happened.
The former Georgia commit is predicted by 247Sports to end up at Miami.
