The Tennessee Vols didn’t do much early on National Signing Day, but that changed drastically during the afternoon hours.
After pulling off a stunner and landing four-star linebacker Henry To’oto’o, the Vols added a cornerback with elite speed.
Kenney Solomon, a three-star recruit from Myrtle Beach, SC, announced his commitment to Tennessee.

For now, it’s unclear if Solomon is signing immediately, or if he’s a blue shirt candidate. But honestly, that’s just a matter of the coaches making the numbers work.
Solomon, 6-foot/170 lbs, reportedly runs the 40 yard dash in 4.36 seconds. That’s the kind of speed that Tennessee desperately needs.
The South Carolina native is rated as the No. 30 player in the state of SC and the No. 145 cornerback in the nation.
Perhaps Pruitt and his staff found a hidden gem down by the coast.
