2020 four-star running back JoJuan Collins recently tweeted that he plans to announce his college commitment on August 22.
The Tennessee Vols, along with Auburn, Georgia, Oklahoma and USC, are in Collins’ top five.

Collins, 6-foot/205 lbs from Harbor City, CA, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 27 player in the state of California and the No. 21 running back in the nation.
Collins told Rivals last summer that USC was one of his top schools, because of their great history and tradition.
That’s an interesting note because Vols wide receivers coach Tee Martin was on USC’s staff a year ago. Perhaps the combination of Martin in Knoxville, plus Tennessee’s rich history and tradition, could sway Collins to go to the east coast for college.
Jeremy Pruitt and his staff have certainly proved to be effective recruiters on the west coast.
The Vols currently have 12 commits to their 2020 recruiting class, which is ranked No. 26 in the nation.
