2020 three-star athlete Rishard Densmore recently told Rivals that the Tennessee Vols are his leaders at the moment, followed by Mississippi State.
Densmore, 5-foot-11/181 lbs from Bessemer City, AL, told Rivals that he “fell in in love” with Tennessee after his first visit to Rocky Top this past fall. He added “it was beautiful and the coaches are treating me like family”.
The Alabama native, who also took a visit to UT in early March, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 39 player in the state of Alabama and the No. 70 athlete in the nation.
Densmore, who also has offers from Nebraska and Southern Mississippi, mentioned that Tennessee is recruiting him “harder than anyone”.
The talented athlete, who could play wide receiver, running back or quarterback at the collegiate level, says he plans to commit in August before his first game of the season.
For now, it would be hard to see another program landing Desnmore over the Vols. But recruiting is fluid and things can change at a moment’s notice.
Tennessee currently has six players committed to their 2020 recruiting class, including one other athlete — Jimmy Calloway, a three-star recruit from Morrow, GA.
