2020 Tennessee Vols recruiting target Vai Kaho, a three-star linebacker from Reno, NV, backed off his pledge to Nevada after spending some time with UT head coach Jeremy Pruitt and tight ends coach Brian Niedermeyer earlier this week.

Kaho, 6-foot-1/209 lbs, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 6 player in the state of Nevada and the No. 52 inside linebacker in the nation.

He’s the younger brother of Alabama linebacker Ale Kaho.

Kaho was described by Rivals earlier this season as “a well built player that the ability to track the ball sideline-to-sideline and the athletic skills to be very effective in coverage”. 247Sports says Kaho is a “fluid athlete that sticks to tight ends down field”, adding that he’s a “physical tackler who can cover ground to close on ball carriers”.

The Nevada native is scheduled to officially visit Tennessee on December 13.
