One of the nation’s top 2020 offensive lineman, four-star offensive tackle Mitchell Mayes, will visit the Tennessee Vols this weekend.

Mayes, 6-foot-5/295 pounds from Raleigh, NC (Sanderson), is rated by 247Sports as the No. 2 player in the state of North Carolina and the No. 3 offensive tackle in the nation.

It’s easy to see why he’s so highly rated after taking a look at his highlights.

Mayes, who has notable offers from Clemson, Mississippi State, North Carolina and West Virginia, just absolutely manhandles his competition at the high school level. He looks like a man among boys out there. He’s also fairly athletic.

The North Carolina native already has the ideal size to play tackle in the SEC, and he still has two years of high school football left to play. It’s scary how could he could be by the time the 2020 season rolls around.

This will be Mayes’ first visit to Tennessee.

I’d be absolutely shocked if the massive offensive lineman didn’t walk away with a scholarship offer from the Vols.
