The Tennessee Vols recently made 2019 four-star cornerback Warren Burrell’s top seven schools.
Tennessee is now among Burrell’s top four schools, according to a report from VolQuest.
Auburn, Florida and NC State are the other schools Burrell is still considering. He plans to commit in late July/early August.
Burrell took an official visit to Tennessee in early June. He also visited Knoxville twice in the spring.
Rivals rates Burrell, who says he is done taking visits and will be “100 percent committed” to the school he chooses, as the No. 30 player in the state of Georgia and the No. 29 cornerback in the nation.
Burrell, at 6-foot/166 pounds, would be a nice addition to the Vols’ secondary. He has good speed and he’s been a ball hawk at the high school level.
The way recruiting has been going lately for Tennessee, I’d be surprised if the Georgia native isn’t wearing orange in 2019.
