2019 four-star defensive end Rodricus Fitten tweeted on Monday that he received an offer from the Tennessee Vols.

Fitten is a 6-foot-3, 235 pound recruit from Atlanta, GA (Washington). He’s rated by 247Spots as the No. 39 player in the state of Georgia and the No. 25 weak-side defensive end in the nation.

The Georgia native, who also has offers from Louisville and North Carolina, committed to South Carolina back in September.

Fitten looks like the type of player that Jeremy Pruitt loves to recruit. Pruitt has made it clear that he wants to recruit players he believes can play all four linebacker positions. Fitten is a player that, like Rashaan Evans at Alabama, could start at outside linebacker and possibly move to the inside at some point.

In fact, Fitten is nearly the exact same size as Evans.

Last season, Evans compiled 74 total tackles and six sacks. He’s expected to be a first round draft pick in this year’s NFL Draft.

Pruitt will likely use the success of Evans as a selling point to Fitten, in his attempt to flip the talented recruit to Tennessee.

The Vols currently have two players committed to their 2019 recruiting class.
