The Tennessee Vols are hoping they can steal a 2021 four-star running back from the Miami Hurricanes.
Thaddius Franklin Jr, who committed to the Hurricanes last October, tweeted this week that he received an offer from the Vols.

Franklin, 6-foot/195 lbs from Hollywood, CA, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 18 player in the state of Florida and the No. 9 running back in the nation.
The Florida native also has offers from Boston College, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Missouri, Oregon and South Carolina, among several others.
When Franklin committed to the Hurricanes last fall, he called Miami his dream school. He also mentioned that he grew up a Miami fan. Several of his high school teammates have also committed to play for the Hurricanes, which means Jeremy Pruitt and his staff face an uphill battle to get the dynamic running back to Knoxville.
But there’s still a long way to go in Franklin’s commitment. A lot of things can change between now and when Franklin is able to sign (December, 2020 at the earliest).
