In early December, 2019 five-star wide receiver Jadon Haselwood released his top five schools and the Tennessee Vols made the cut.
Haselwood, 6-foot-2/196 lbs from Ellenwood, GA, has apparently eliminated a team since releasing his top five schools.
Tennessee LB signee Quavaris Crouch spent today chatting up 5-star WR target Jadon Haselwood.
The No. 4 prospect signed financial aid paperwork with the Vols and will announce a decision Jan. 5.

Fortunately for Tennessee fans, it wasn’t the Vols that he eliminated. Haselwood is down to Florida State, Georgia, Oklahoma and Tennessee. Miami is no longer in the mix.
The Georgia native will announce his decision on January 5.
While it’s still a long shot that Tennessee will land the talented wide receiver, it’s still a huge deal that Haselwood is considering the Volunteers — especially after a 5-7 season.
Of course, the reasoning for Haselwood’s decision to include the Vols in his top four is a bit misguided. His comment “They ain’t got no real dogs are receiver right now” isn’t exactly true.
Jauan Jennings is the definition of a dog. He’s not the fastest guy on the field. And he’s not the most athletic guy on the field. But he might be the fiercest competitor on either side of the ball when he’s on the field.
While Vol fans were quick to point this out on social media after hearing Haselwood’s comments, I don’t think they’ll have a problem with the five-star wide receiver if he chooses Tennessee on Saturday.
