The Tennessee Vols made a huge splash on Wednesday by signing four-star linebacker Henry To’oto’o.
BREAKING: De La Salle (Calif.) 4-star MLB Henry To’oto’o picks Tennessee over Alabama and Washington.
Brian Niedermeyer’s weekly cross-country trips in January paid off. Kevin Simon with an assist here, too.

Tennessee landed the California native over Alabama and Washington.
In recent weeks, the speculation was that the battle for To’oto’o was mainly between Alabama and Washington (the Huskies because of the proximity to California).
The fact that Pruitt was able to land To’oto’o over Alabama is stunning.
Tennessee is nowhere close to where Alabama is as a program right now. To’oto’o’s decision to sign with the Vols over an established program that routinely appears in the College Football Playoff is a testament to the belief that players have in Pruitt and the staff at UT. After his commitment, To’oto’o told ESPNU “I love what Jeremy Pruitt is doing there”.
To’oto’o, 6-foot-2/230 lbs, is rated in 247Sports’ composite rankings as the No. 7 player in the state of California and the No. 3 outside linebacker in the nation.
