The Tennessee Vols are in a good position to land one of the nation’s top 2019 junior college recruits.
According to a report from VolQuest, the Volunteers lead for four-star inside linebacker Lakia Henry.
Henry told VolQuest that while Tennessee is currently at the top of his list, he still plans on visiting other schools. So it’s very possible another program could leapfrog Tennessee.

Henry, 6-foot-1/227 pounds from Vidalia, GA, is rated by 247Sports as the top JuCo player in the state of Georgia and the No. 1 inside linebacker in the nation (at the JuCo level).
The Georgia native plans on committing before the 2018 school year starts, so the Vols should have a decision from the elite linebacker sooner rather than later.
Henry, in addition to his offer from Tennessee, also holds notable offers from Alabama, Kentucky, Miami, Nebraska, Ole Miss and Texas A&M, among several others.
