There’s been a lot of discussion centered around Lane Kiffin on Wednesday, thanks to a recent story from ESPN’s Chris Low that details Kiffin’s 14 months as the head coach of the Tennessee Vols.
The article is absolutely worth checking out if you haven’t already (it involves former UT defensive line coach Ed Orgeron throwing a projector against the wall before a game against Alabama and just gets better from there).
With all the Kiffin talk, it’s no surprise that the polarizing current head coach at Florida Atlantic took to Twitter to make a prediction for the Vols’ matchup on Saturday against the Florida Gators.
Kiffin, who boasted that Tennessee was going to sing Rocky Top “all night long” after they beat Florida in 2009 (they didn’t, they lost 23-13), is predicting an upset in Gainesville on Saturday.

That’s a bold prediction by Kiffin, but he’s never been one to play things safe.
Florida is currently a 14 point favorite. And the Vols haven’t won in the Swamp since 2003. But crazier things in college football have happened (like Georgia State upsetting Tennessee).
Tennessee and Florida will kick off at 11:00 AM CT/12:00 PM ET on Saturday. The game will air on ESPN.
