Tennessee Vols head coach Jeremy Pruitt and his staff received some good news on Friday afternoon.
2019 three-star tight end Jackson Lowe announced his commitment to Tennessee.
Lowe, 6-foot-5/242 pounds from Cartersville, GA, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 37 player in the state of Georgia and the No. 19 tight end in the nation.
The Georgia native committed to Tennessee over offers from Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Miami, Notre Dame, Ohio State and South Carolina, among many others.

Lowe has visited Tennessee twice since being offered by the Vols in January. He most recently visited last weekend to take in one of Tennessee’s spring practices.
This is the Volunteers’ second commitment in the last two days. 2020 athlete Kristian Story committed to Tennessee on Thursday.
The Vols now have three commits in their 2019 recruiting class.
Four-star offensive guard Jackson Lampley is a solid commit, while four-star athlete Te’Cory Couch doesn’t appear to be destined to end up at Tennessee.
