It shouldn’t be a surprise that Tennessee Vols head coach Jeremy Pruitt is no-nonsense in his speeches to his team.

That’s who Pruitt is as a coach. He’s certainly not going to change moments before his Vols take the field (for a game or even practice), just for the sake of creating a memorable audio clip.

Ironically, that approach by Pruitt managed to organically create a moment that will give Tennessee fans chills.

Check out this portion of one of Pruitt’s speeches that’s included in a brief video that UT tweeted out on Saturday morning.

“The most important thing I want to do is play 60 minutes of Tennessee football the way it’s suppose to be played. We are not stopping. I’m not stopping.”

If you’re a Vol fan and that doesn’t get you fired up, then you must not have a pulse.

Pruitt is the perfect coach, despite being from Alabama, to carry on the great traditions of Tennessee. He embodies what football is all about in the south.
