The first half of the Tennessee Vols/Alabama Crimson Tide game featured some…..let’s just say questionable calls.
Among the questionable calls was a play where Tennessee lined up in a wildcat formation in the red zone and the referees inexplicably stopped play, which allowed Alabama to get into the proper defensive alignment. The Vols then changed the play and ended up having to settle for a field goal.
Another questionable call was a play that Alabama ran near the end of the half where only one second came off the clock.

I’m not sure how you explain that.
At halftime, Vols head coach Jeremy Pruitt expressed his displeasure with the referees by throwing some massive shade during his interview with the Vol Network.
Jeremy Pruitt to the @VolNetwork_IMG: It will be real interesting to see what the referees do this half.

Yep Jeremy, it’ll be real interesting indeed.
