Tennessee’s coaching search has taken it’s final left turn – for now – kidding. But, with the reports of Alabama defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt taking the job, fans can return to normalcy.

According to USA Today’s list of 2017 College Football coaches salaries, that dollar figure would make Pruitt right around the sixth or seventh highest paid SEC coach. Previous Vols coach Butch Jones made a base salary of $4.11 million this season.
