The Tennessee Vols recently extended a scholarship offer to 2020 defensive end DeSanto Rollins, a 6-foot-4/275 lb recruit from Baton Rouge, LA (Parkview Baptist School).

Rollins, who hasn’t been rated yet by any of the major recruiting services, recently took a visit to Tennessee and was offered by fellow Louisiana native David Johnson (UT’s running backs coach).
In an interview with VolQuest, Rollins called his visit to Tennessee “an electric experience”.
The Volunteers obviously see something in Rollins, whose other reported offers are from Louisiana, Nicholls State and Prairie View A&M.
Tennessee, at least according to Rollins’ interview with VolQuest, sees the Louisiana native playing the Kyle Phillips’ role in Jeremy Pruitt’s defense.
Tennessee might feel as thought they found a diamond in the rough with Rollins, but now that they’ve offered, it won’t be long before other programs are knocking on his door.
