The Tennessee Vols, under new head coach Jeremy Pruitt, are hitting their stride with their 2019 recruiting class.
But the Volunteers aren’t just focused on 2019.
Pruitt and his staff are also doing some nice work with the 2020 class, and that includes getting 2020 four-star defensive back Malachi Moore on campus for a second visit.
Moore, a 6-foot/170 pound cornerback from Trussville, AL, is set to visit Rocky Top on Sunday.
It will be the second time he’s been in Knoxville since he was offered by Tennessee in early January.

The Alabama native, who is rated by 247Sports as the No. 3 player in the state of Alabama and the No. 15 cornerback in the nation, also has offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, LSU, Michigan and Oregon.
Interestingly, Moore doesn’t have an offer from Alabama, despite being one of the top in-state players.
Moore, however, took an unofficial visit to Alabama in April.
Even though Moore doesn’t have an offer from Alabama, both of the 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions that have been made for him have the Crimson Tide landing the talented cornerback.
It will be tough for Tennessee to hold off Bama if they decide they’re interested in Moore. But Pruitt has already showed he’s capable of winning intense recruiting battles against his alma mater.
