In the wake of the Tennessee Vols’ loss to the LSU Tigers on Saturday, which featured several questionable calls that some feel went in LSU’s favor, photos of referee Anthony Jordan, who worked the the game, holding up a LSU shirt surfaced on social media.

Vols head coach Rick Barnes was asked about the situation during his weekly press conference on Monday and he made it clear that he’s reached out to the SEC multiple times since the conclusion of Saturday’s game.

Barnes wasn’t shy at all about his criticism of the refs.

I completely understand his frustration. Tennessee had chances to win the game, and I’m never a fan of blaming a loss on the referees, but we’d all be extremely naive to suggest refs don’t have the ability to affect the outcome of a game.

I don’t know what will end up happening with Anthony Jordan, but I know this isn’t a good look for the SEC.

They’d be wise to quickly get this situation handled, before the integrity of the league is questioned.
