The Tennessee Vols are hoping they can win three games in a row in the SEC Tournament and lock down a No. 1 seed in the upcoming NCAA Tournament.
Thanks to a loss by Gonzaga on Tuesday night in the WCC championship game, a No. 1 seed is certainly a possibility for the Vols.
Tennessee will hit the court for the first time in the 2019 SEC Tournament on Friday against the winner of the Mississippi State vs Texas A&M/Vanderbilt game.
In order for the Vols to win the SEC Tournament, which will be a battle, they’ll need plenty of fan support.
UT forward Grant Williams, the AP player of of year, doesn’t seem to think that will be much of a problem in Nashville.
In fact, Williams could barely contain his enthusiasm when describing how much orange he expects to see at Bridgestone Arena.

Vanderbilt University might only be a short distance away from Bridgestone Arena, but there’s no doubt that Vol fans vastly outnumber Commodore fans in Nashville.
I’d expect to see plenty of orange and white when Tennessee takes the court on Friday. And if Tennessee reaches the championship game on Sunday, the Crowd will almost certainly be in the Vols’ corner.
