If you find a job you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.
A lot of people never get to live the truth in that statement.
Tennessee Vols defensive line coach Tracy Rocker, however, is not one of those people.
It’s abundantly clear from watching his interactions with players that Rocker truly loves coaching football. It’s what he was born to do.
Check out this clip of him coaching Tennessee’s defensive linemen on Tuesday.

Here’s an extended look at Rocker, from his time at Georgia.
I think the most telling part of that clip is when UGA defensive end Ray Drew says Rocker can’t give him an answer when asked what he’d be doing if he wasn’t a coach. “It’s the only thing he knows” is the response from Drew.
The Vols are going to have to generate a better pass rush in 2018 if they’re going to reach bowl eligibility. Teams can’t win in the SEC unless they can protect the quarterback and pressure the quarterback.
Fortunately for Tennessee, they have a defensive line coach that would rather be on the practice field instead of anywhere else in the world.
