Tennessee Vols quality control analyst Tino Sunseri announced via Twitter on Wednesday that he’s joining Nick Saban’s staff at Alabama in an unspecified role.
In his tweet, Sunseri had nothing but great things to say about Tennessee and Vol nation.
I want to take the time to Thank Coach Pruitt for the opportunity at Tennessee. The Facility, Players, and fans were nothing but first class.

Sunseri joined Tennessee’s staff a little over a year ago after serving in the same role on Jimbo Fisher’s staff at Florida State for two seasons.
It was announced earlier in January that Sunseri’s father, Sal Sunseri, was leaving Florida to serve as Alabama’s linebackers coach.
Vinnie Sunseri, Tino’s brother, also recently joined Alabama’s staff (in an off-the-field role).
Vols head coach Jeremy Pruitt likes to employ plenty of off-the-field coaches and analysts (much like Nick Saban), so I expect he’ll be making some additional off-the-field hires in the very near future.
Other UT coaches in the off-the-field roles to leave this off-season are Montario Hardesty (Western Kentucky) and John Lilly (Cleveland Browns).
