The Tennessee Vols are continuing to make an impact with recruits from outside the state of Tennessee.
2020 four-star cornerback Malachi Moore released his top six schools on Thursday evening and he included the Volunteers.

Moore, 6-foot/170 pounds from Trussville, AL, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 3 player in the state of Alabama and the No. 15 cornerback in the nation.
I think Moore’s top six says a lot about how the Vols are perceived as a program by recruits. Obviously it doesn’t matter if a school is in a recruit’s top six if they don’t land him. But the fact that Tennessee is now in the mix with schools like Alabama, Clemson and LSU, programs that consistently land top talent, shows that recruits believe in the vision Jeremy Pruitt has for Tennessee.
If the Vols can reach bowl eligibility in 2018, they should see a HUGE uptick in recruiting. Recruits clearly believe in Pruitt, but seeing actual results on the field is what will really taking UT recruiting to the next level.
Tennessee currently has three commits to their 2020 recruiting class.
