Hodge, 6-foot-2/230 lbs, is from Maryville, TN. He’s rated in 247Sports’ composite rankings as the No. 21 player in the state of Tennessee and the No. 45 running back in the nation.
The Tennessee native, who is the nephew of NFL wide receiver Randall Cobb (a local product who attended Kentucky), runs the 40 yard dash in 4.47 seconds according to 247Sports.
Hodge, who took an unofficial visit to Tennessee this past weekend, recently told Rivals that he has a “great relationship” with the UT coaching staff. He also mentioned that Tennessee was “just around the corner”, which means his grandparents would be able to easily watching him play if he were to commit to play for the Volunteers.
Arkansas, Kentucky, Michigan and Purdue are the other programs heavily recruiting Hodge.
The dynamic running back is hoping to commit before the start of his senior season.
Tennessee currently has nine commits to their 2020 recruiting class. None of the Vols’ committed players are running backs.
