The Tennessee Vols aren’t expected to compete for the SEC East division title in 2018.
But that doesn’t mean Jeremy Pruitt will get a free pass in his first season as the Vols’ head coach.
5-7 was an acceptable record for Butch Jones in his first season at Tennessee. Pruitt, however, will have higher expectations. It’s bowl or bust for the Vols in 2018.
Of course, wins and losses won’t be the only thing that Tennessee fans will be paying attention to next season. After suffering through three failed head coaches, Vol fans will have their eyes on the little things, looking for the first sign that Pruitt might not be the guy that’s going to lead Tennessee back to glory.
