Five-star linebacker Noah Sewell, one of the nation’s top 2020 recruits, tweeted his top eight schools on Sunday and he included the Tennessee Vols.
I truly am grateful to all the Coaches & Universities that offered me an opportunity to continue my education. But moving forward, I will focus on these 8 schools, and find what best fits me. Please respect my decision. I apologize for not taking any interviews at this time.🙏🏽 pic.twitter.com/bXDg31gw4D

Sewell, 6-foot-2/266 lbs from Orem, UT, is rated in 247Sports’ composite rankings as the top player in the state of Utah and the No. 2 inside linebacker in the nation.
Sewell was recently described by Rivals as “super athletic for his size”, while mentioning that he has a “tremendous love and passion for the game”.
There’s some question over how big Sewell will end up being. He’s already big for a linebacker, which means he will probably move to the outside at the next level. He’d likely be an outstanding pass rusher in college.
Oregon might be in the driver’s seat for Sewell’s commitment, since his brother plays for the Ducks. But Tennessee and the rest of the SEC schools in Sewell’s top 8 (plus Ohio State) certainly can’t be ruled out.
The Vols currently have 13 commits to their 2020 recruiting class, which is ranked No. 24 in the nation at the moment.
