Decker visited with the Titans earlier last week and the idea of the former Jet signing in Nashville was a rumor that has come to be true as he has signed a one-year deal. Decker was available after the Jets decided to waive him on Monday.
The 30-year-old played in just three games last season and has undergone surgeries on his hip and shoulder most recently. While he is a bit of a question mark heading into this season he brings a strong resume to Music City as he has 385 catches for 5,253 yards and 52 touchdowns in his seven seasons in the NFL. Decker is one of only nine players since 2012 to have at least 40 receiving touchdowns.
Mariota now has himself yet another weapon on the outside. More to come on Decker and his contract as details are released.
