Every coach in the NFL is ultra competitive. They wouldn’t be coaching in the NFL if they weren’t.
But Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel is definitely the most competitive head coach in the league.
On Thursday, Vrabel discussed his competitive nature by explaining that he insists on his family beating other families in line at amusement parks. Vrabel said he has no clue why he feels the need to beat other families in line, he just does it.

It doesn’t get much more competitive than that. Getting in line is a pretty mundane, unexciting task. But Vrabel sees it as a moment where he, and his family, can compete.
There’s no doubt that Vrabel has the right mind set to be a successful head coach in the NFL. And he certainly has the pedigree as well (successful college and NFL player, as well as a college and NFL assistant). As long as he has talent on the roster, Vrabel should find plenty of success (Titans general manger Jon Robinson is doing a good job with providing plenty of talent).
Teams are often a reflection of their head coaches. If that is the case with the Titans, they’ll be the most competitive team in the NFL.
