According to the latest odds from Odds Shark, the Tennessee Titans aren’t among the favorites to win the AFC in 2019.

In fact, Odds Shark has the Titans with the fourth worst odds to win the AFC. The only teams with worse odds than the Titans are the Buffalo Bills, Cincinnati Bengals and Miami Dolphins.

I find this quite surprising. While I definitely don’t feel like the Titans should be favorites to win the AFC, I don’t think they should have worse odds than the Oakland Raiders, Jacksonville Jaguars or Denver Broncos.

Each of those teams were significantly worse than the Titans in 2018. And none of those teams improved their rosters enough to be considered better than Tennessee in 2019.

That’s because the Titans made plenty of improvements of their own. Adding Cam Wake, Rodger Saffold and Adam Humphries, plus the return of tight end Delanie Walker, should be enough to consider the Nashville based franchise a serious threat in the AFC.

I’m not much of a gambler, but considering how unpredictable the NFL tends to be, it might not be a bad idea to take these odds for the Titans. They certainly have the talent to make a serious run in 2019 — as long as everyone stays healthy.
