It didn’t take long last week for the wild Tom Brady in Nashville rumors to get debunked.

After numerous folks suggested that Brady and his wife were spotted touring Montgomery Bell Academy, it was revealed that the six-time Super Bowl champion was actually in Miami.

That revelation, however, didn’t explain how the Brady rumors started in the first place.

It turns out there was a legitimate reason the rumors got started.

According to WKRN, Hall of Famer Steve Hutchinson and his wife, Landyn, were the ones actually touring the school.

Hutchinson spent the final year of his career with the Tennessee Titans.

From WKRN:

The New York Post said “Living with Landyn” blogger “Landyn Hutchinson” and her husband, former Titan Steve Hutchinson were actually the ones touring Montgomery Bell Academy.

A Nashville attorney said the rumor started after a student was told he couldn’t meet with the head of admissions because he was meeting with someone from the Hall of Fame.

I mean, I don’t really see the resemblance.

It seems like the Titans are going to roll with Ryan Tannehill as their quarterback next season anyway (pending a franchise tag or extension).

Looks like the Brady/Mike Vrabel reunion might never come to fruition.
