2019 three-star outside linebacker Bryton Constantin announced his top eight schools on Monday afternoon and the Tennessee Vols made the cut.

Constantin, 6-foot-2/220 pounds from Baton Rouge, LA (University Lab), is rated by 247Sports as the No. 20 player in the state of Louisiana and the No. 41 outside linebacker in the nation.

The Baton Rouge native was offered by the Vols on March 2. Constantin took an unofficial visit to Clemson a day after receiving his offer from Tennessee.

Judging by Constantin’s offer list, which includes Auburn, Clemson and Florida, I’d say he’s a bit underrated as a recruit. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s eventually elevated to a four-star linebacker.

Constantin will likely play on the inside when he starts his college career, before moving to the outside. That falls in line with what UT head coach Jeremy Pruitt prefers at linebacker (he wants his linebackers to know how to play all four positions).

The Vols currently have only two 2019 commits.
