If you thought the Tennessee Vols were done adding players during the early signing period, well you were wrong.
On Friday, the Vols landed four-star athlete Quavaris Crouch.
BREAKING: Quavaris Crouch commits to Tennessee over Clemson & Michigan. Rated as nation's #2 athlete, #39 overall prospect. Rivals rated Crouch as nation's #1 prospect before he sat out senior season due to injury.

The Charlotte, NC native wasn’t expected to announce his decision until January 5.
However, Rivals reported on Friday that Crouch had been “inundated” with phone calls from coaches after taking a surprise visit to Tennessee on the final weekend before the early signing period. Crouch was reportedly ready for the recruiting process to be over.
This is certainly great news for the Vols. Jeremy Pruitt and his staff are getting a talented player who can play on both sides of the ball. Though it’s worth noting that Crouch, 6-foot-3/230 lbs, is expected to play at linebacker on Rocky Top.
Crouch is rated by 247Sports as the No. 1 player in the state of North Carolina and the No. 2 athlete in the nation.
