2020 four-star athlete Kristian Story committed to the Tennessee Vols on Thursday evening.
Story, 6-foot-2/196 pounds from Lanett, AL, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 4 player in the state of Alabama and the No. 6 athlete in the nation.

The Alabama native, who took an unofficial visit to Tennessee on Thursday, committed to the Vols over offers from Alabama, Georgia, Louisville and Mississippi State.
Story plays quarterback and cornerback in high school. I imagine Jeremy Pruitt is recruiting the talented athlete as a cornerback, considering he fits the mold of what Pruitt looks for in a defensive back (he’s 6-foot-2).
Landing Story over Alabama and Georgia is huge for the Pruitt and the Volunteers. Tennessee doesn’t have a lot of recruiting momentum at the moment, but securing a commitment from a player in Alabama’s backyard could raise the eyebrows of some of the nation’s top recruits. Thursday’s commitment could be a sign of good things to come for the Vols.
Story is Tennessee’s first 2020 commit.
