2021 four-star tight end Miles Campbell committed to the Tennessee Vols mainly because of the relationship he built with the UT coaching staff.
Campbell, who is rated by 247Sports as the No. 10 tight end in the nation, recently told VolQuest that he got “great vibes from all the coaches”, which led to his commitment in May.
Those great vibes, however, weren’t the only reason Campbell decided Tennessee was the right school for him.
Campbell believes something special is possible at UT. And he’s confident the 2021 recruiting class will return Tennessee to the greatness the program experienced in the 90s.
“It’s very exciting knowing that you can be a part of the class that will bring Tennessee back to how it used to be in the 90s,” said Campbell to VolQuest.
The dynamic tight end added, “Instead of adding to other team’s success or dynasties, we get to come in here and build one at Tennessee”.
Vol fans have to love this confidence from Campbell.
It would’ve been easy for the Georgia native to go to a more “established” program like Auburn or Florida, but Campbell chose Tennessee because he wants to be remembered for helping the program return to its previous greatness.
Jeremy Pruitt is loading up on players who are determined to win, which is a good sign for the future of Vol football.
