The Tennessee Vols currently look like a team that can’t be stopped.
On Saturday night, the Volunteers (17-5) won their third straight game by double digit points, beating Ole Miss 94-61.
It was Tennessee’s fifth straight win overall. The loss was the third straight for the Rebels (11-12).
Five Volunteers scored at least 10 points in the win, including Grant Williams and Lamonte Turner who each scored a game high 17 points.
Finding Motivation
Admiral Schofield contributed 15 points and 12 rebounds in the win. He also gave a glimpse of what is motivating Tennessee to play at a high level.
Before the start of the 2017-18 season, the SEC media picked the Volunteers to finish 13th in league play.
Schofield and his teammates haven’t let that erroneous prediction escape their minds.

The Vols currently have a 99.9 percent chance of making the NCAA tournament.
If they keep playing at this level, they could end up being a No. 2 seed in the NCAA tournament.
I’m not sure there’s ever been a miss quite this big in terms of pre-season expectations.
Rick Barnes deserves a standing ovation every time his team takes the floor right now. It’s the understatement of the year to say he’s doing a great job.
