New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton led his team to a win against the Tennessee Titans in week 16.

But that win turned out to mean little.

The Saints are at home in New Orleans, while the Titans are heading to the AFC Championship game.

On Sunday morning, while serving as a guest analyst on ESPN’s NFL Countdown show, Payton had some high praise for the Titans.

Those words hold a lot of weight coming from Sean Payton — one of the top coaches in the NFL over the last decade.

(By the way, Payton also made sure to point out that New Orleans beat Tennessee without Derrick Henry on the field.)

After starting the season with a 2-4 record, the Titans suddenly look like the most dangerous team in the playoffs.

It’s safe to say they have everyone’s attention after knocking off the Patriots and the Ravens.

It took a while, but the national media is finally ready to give the Titans the love they deserve.
