The Predators will be rocking a new jersey next season.
In case you didn’t know, Adidas is taking over the NHL next season and with the brand with three stripes taking over for Reebok there are going to be some changes to the Predators jerseys. How big or little those changes are, well, we won’t know that until the new sweaters are revealed on June 20th.
Nashville did however tease the new home jersey on its Instagram on Thursday morning:
It certainly doesn’t show a lot other than the new Adidas logo, but hey, those small holes left and right of the logo would be something new. Also, on the current home jerseys, there is a blue bar outlined with a white stripe above the nameplates and it looks like Adidas will be getting rid of that.
The gold looks like the same gold as does the font on the collar of the jersey. The font style on the nameplate of the jersey appears to look just a tad bit different, in my opinion, and maybe the letters are a touch closer than what we have seen in the past.
Adidas teased all of the new jerseys for teams around the league and you can check those out here. Don’t be surprised if Adidas shows us a little something new each day leading up to the 20th.
