Game 7 is where superstars are made… and the Nashville Predators are hosting their first ever Game 7 Thursday night in Smashville.

Preds forward Filip Forsberg is a prime candidate to burst out on the national stage if he performs well in the Game 7 between the NHL’s top team and the Winnipeg Jets.

The 23-year-old has been phenomenal for the Predident’s Trophy winning Preds in the first 12 games of this Stanley Cup Playoff run for Nashville. Forsberg leads the team in goals (7), assists (8) and total points (15). He also leads the team in the unofficial stat of “jaw-dropping-incredibly-insane-hightlight-plays” with four….

As you try to manage your excitement level for puck drop, here’s Filip Forsberg’s top four goals this playoffs… so far:

The first two goals in the video were from Forsberg’s incredible performance in Game 6 of the series – where the Preds won 4-0 to force Game 7. The “broken-stick-breakaway” goal put the Predators up 2-0 in the second period and the “between-the-legs-okie-doke” all but locked up the win at 3-0 in the third period.

The third and forth goals come from the Predators first round series against the Colorado Avalanche in Game 1 and Game 4, respectively.

Filip Forsberg Notes:

The Predators are 4-1 in these playoffs when he scores a goal.

Nashville is also 4-1 when Forsberg has a multi-point game, this playoffs.

The Preds are 4-0 in the playoffs when Filip Forsberg scores 2 goals or more in a game (2-0 this year).

The Preds have an overall 16-3 record with Forsberg has multi-goal games, for his career.
