Game 7 is where superstars are made… and the Nashville Predators are hosting their first ever Game 7 Thursday night in Smashville.
Preds forward Filip Forsberg is a prime candidate to burst out on the national stage if he performs well in the Game 7 between the NHL’s top team and the Winnipeg Jets.
The 23-year-old has been phenomenal for the Predident’s Trophy winning Preds in the first 12 games of this Stanley Cup Playoff run for Nashville. Forsberg leads the team in goals (7), assists (8) and total points (15). He also leads the team in the unofficial stat of “jaw-dropping-incredibly-insane-hightlight-plays” with four….

The first two goals in the video were from Forsberg’s incredible performance in Game 6 of the series – where the Preds won 4-0 to force Game 7. The “broken-stick-breakaway” goal put the Predators up 2-0 in the second period and the “between-the-legs-okie-doke” all but locked up the win at 3-0 in the third period.
The third and forth goals come from the Predators first round series against the Colorado Avalanche in Game 1 and Game 4, respectively.
