P.K. Subban is going to continue to be P.K. Subban whether you like it or not.
Story written by Mark Harris
It is no secret that P.K. Subban loves the spotlight, he loves the big moment and he loves celebrating out there on the ice after a goal or a big play. That’s who he is, he’s one of the best hockey players walking the planet and he is an entertainer. And, to be quite honest, he’s only one of a handful of guys that wears his heart on his shoulder and does what he wants to do on the ice and in front of the media in the NHL and that isn’t changing anytime soon.
Subban will be featured on ESPN’s E:60 series Sunday morning at 8:00 AM CST and E:60 sent out a teaser of the piece earlier in the week. Here’s what Subban had to say about his goal scoring celebrations and how he’s going to continue to be the player he is:

Subban recently caught some flack from former NHL’er now analyst Mike Milbury on NBCSN’s pre-game coverage of Game Two between the Predators and Blues when Milbury called Subban a clown for his pregame routine.
With all of this coming about and Subban’s comments, it makes you question whether or not there is a better team in the NHL Subban could be playing for. Nashville and its fans have embraced Subban and have embraced what he does on and off the ice including his celebrations. Nashville hockey is a different style of hockey with it’s atmosphere that welcomes entertaining hockey and players that show their emotions. That is exactly what Subban brings to the table, what he’s done during this Stanley Cup Final run and what he’ll continue to do.
