A pair of highly coveted four-star cornerbacks will reportedly visit the Tennessee Vols this week.

According to The Read Optional’s Trey Wallace, Adonis Otey and Woodi Washington, both of Murfreesboro, TN, will be in Knoxville on Tuesday.

Both Otey and Washington are in-state players the Volunteers need to land. And it would be huge for Tennessee to get commitments from these two players sooner rather than later.

The Vols currently have four commits to their 2019 recruiting class. Landing a couple of four-star in-state players could help jump start their recruiting class.

All it will likely take is a commitment from a highly rated prospect to create a domino effect in recruiting for Tennessee.

Fortunately for the Vols, they have a great chance at landing a highly rated recruit on Tuesday.

Four-star offensive tackle Wanya Morris, who is rated in 247Sports’ composite rankings as one of the top 50 2019 recruits in the nation, will announce his commitment on Tuesday evening. His decision is down to Auburn and Tennessee, but the Vols seemingly have the momentum.

If Tennessee lands a commitment from Morris, it could lead players like Washington and Otey to follow suit and commit to Rocky Top.

Washington appeared to enjoy his visit on Tuesday.
